I arrived in Burkina Faso after a stopover in Niger. The plane ride was about 15 hours all total and I have saddle sores. It's hot as it can be here in Burkina Faso. A girl named Ashley was heading home to WAshington on the plane that I came in on. I ate supper at the American Rec Center. I hope I can get rested up tonight. I think we're going to Bobo tomorrow if the truck is fixed in time. I should get to ride around the city in any event.

Niger

I've learned that I'll be travelling in Niger for the first few weeks that I'm in Africa. I expect to travel all the way to the Lake Chad area. I don't think the lake extends into Niger but it once did.
